Unfortunately, I have had to take a step back from some of my adventuring. There is a saying that goes “You never know what you’ll get”. During the pandemic, I have taken every necessary step to try and ensure my health and safety. As a young person, who lives with 3 roommates, and works, I have been put at some cross- roads during this global pandemic. After someone who I was in close contact with had an exposure, my world got flipped upside down. Staying inside for 2 weeks sounds nice and easy until you are faced with the realities of it all. Same 4 walls, same food and really bad internet service. My only source of fresh air was a 4ft patio and 1 window is not
During this time, I have taken it to reflect on all that I am grateful for. Being allowed the freedom and privilege’s to travel where you want, when you want is truly eye-opening. Moving forward, it will make every adventure that much more special to me.
